It truly takes a village. My goal in offering consultation services is to provide comprehensive and consistent support for women who are coping with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Through education, direct support, and providing resources to professionals and families, my hope is that patients never feel dismissed by those in their support system, rather they are seen and cared for in the way they deserve to be.

How is consultation different from therapy?

My work as a therapist focuses on helping individuals improve mental and emotional health through talking, identifying challenges in thinking and behavior, and developing coping strategies to promote mental health stability.

In the consulting role, I am bringing my knowledge of perinatal mental health to other professionals and family members who may be supporting women in these challenges by offering insight into perinatal mental health challenges, how to identify them, and also how to offer effective communication, resources, and support.
